Spring Geese

FEB 14TH - MARCH 31ST

CONSERVATION SNOWS

It’s time to dust off the e-callers and extension tubes and teach the juvies a lesson! Large, sock-dominant spreads are the ticket in any light wind for these birds! Typically, 50 dozen or more is enough to make the wariest of snows look but be sure to be well hidden whether it’s on an edge or in the spread! There can be thousands of eyes on you at once, so hiding is paramount. Be sure to have juvie decoys to give the most realistic early spring look you can!

SPRING SPECKS

With some of the best senses of all waterfowl, these pressured specks can be some of the most difficult to find success with. Loose spreads of 10-20 dozen along with light, realistic calling can be just what the doctor ordered. As is always the case with specks, make sure your hide is as close to perfect as you can get it, and use both blind placement and calling in such a manner that it draws minimal attention in your direction to avoid the gaze of these wary birds.
